Today has been a big moment for amo ergo sum. It's been the first time someone else participated in the music. Thanks to the advice of a friend I found a wonderful
flute and piccolo player in my own neighborhood. I was really amazed that she was very motivated from the first moment on. It all went very quick and a few days later we met in the studio to
record some tracks. For me it's been the first time recording a flute, so I was a bit nervous about it. I decided to use two mics one quite close to the flute and another one two meters away from
the source. The first time hearing a real flute on my records really amazed me. Before that I just used samples to compose and there is no compairison at all. It also feels awesome when someone
else is participating in my music, especially if someone is playing with so much enthusiasm as Evelyn. It really motivated me for the following instrument recordings. More infos about my
forthcoming EP are coming soon. I'll leave you with some impressions from this great sessions. Thanks to Evelyn Pointl for playing the flut so beautifully.
